PROPERTY DAMAGE

Why do most people think skaters destroy property? There's a difference between property damage and skating. A huge difference! I don't get it. I mean yeah, there are some real dumb skaters out there that probably don't help lift that rep off our backs. Like in my state, Maine, there are certain towns that if you skate you get your board taken away cause of "damage" even if you're just rolling around. But it's fine to BMX there, they don't have a problem with that... like that makes a whole lot of sense.
Zach

Well, we hate to break it to you Zach, but skateboarding does destroy property...sometimes. Ever wax up a fresh ledge, then skate it until it turns black? Or what about wallride marks? Well, you're destroying property! Although to the common person they probably think we're destroying property all the time, it really only happens sometimes, and that's something you can't shake. As far as the BMX-ers go, it seems like they always get a pass, when in reality, they probably do more damage than skating. You partake in a destructive activity, be prepared to catch some flack for it.
